How do I know the price of a model made by NL?
To help us with assessing the price, we need you to provide:
- sketches, images, photos, drawings or pictures; show us, or send via e-mail to info@nl.kz;
- the desired size of the future layout (width and length);
- a specified deadline for completion.
Do I need to provide the dimensions of the model in cubic centimeters, decimeters or meters (for a price)?
Yes, but at NL we do not base our pricing on the absolute volume of the model alone. Since each project is unique, price calculations are made on an individual basis. We take into account the complexity of the model, the number of parts and materials and actual model build time. Additional options such as electric lights, moving, or collapsible parts, a dust cover and shipping container and so on, are also available to you and can be provided at extra cost.
Can I get a model made by NL, even if there is no image of the object?
We can still make a model even in this case. You are required to describe in detail the goals, as well as any objectives and requirements to be met by your future model. (We are happy to make suggestions.)
Can I order a model from NL and get it delivered and installed it in another city?
Of course you can. We will pack the finished model in transport boxes and send it by train, car or plane, and our experts will even come and install it for you, at extra cost. In most cases, however, you can complete the installation on your own, as it is usually simple and requires no special skills.
Can I order a model from NL at short notice?
Minimum production time for a simple model layout is 3-4 days, for the average model about 7-10 days for more complex models you should expect a completion time of 12-14 days. The timeframe for production primarily depends on your model’s complexity. The more complex the model, the more time is required for its production. The quality of drawings, sketches, etc. also has a strong effect on this timeframe. The better your project is illustrated and documented, the less problems we are likely to have in building it, hence the faster we will be able to complete the model for you.
Is it possible to order a model from NL even if I am in another town or country and cannot come to you?
We already have many customers like you. Some clients we have never seen. Information can be exchanged by internet and payment by bank draft. Interim results of on going work for your model can also be sent in the form of periodic photo report for a small extra cost.
